Vietnam is known to be the country which peoples had no freedom of speech and controlled by the corrupted government. However, Many of Asian families determined to leave their native country and search for their own freedom from a different government. My family is an example which we traveled by boat to the United States of America for a better life. Although we lived in the country which had the freedom of speech and had the authority to speak whenever we disagree with the government. Therefore, my family and I still can’t forget the country where we was born and raised with many of emotion overview such as Nha Trang, Dalat, vung tau, Hue, and Halong Bay which I traveled with my friend last summer.
As I started to complete all my class from last summer at De Anza Colleges, my friend and I considered plans a trip back to my country for our summer vacation. I realized this would be a nice time to visit my brothers and sisters which still lived in Vietnam. Obviously I had come for reason no.2 and that was to have a tour around Halong Bay. Not only my friend and I want to visit Halong Bay, but we also wanted to travel around the Saigon city.
After sitting more than 20 hours on the plane and traveled through Beijing to switch into another plane. Finally we have arrived to my native country where we was born and raised by the corrupted government. As I walked down from the plane and enter the Vietnam International Airport, I felt like my body getting melted by the hot temperature kept blowing into my faces. I also felt like I was living near the volcano which ready to be erupted. I knew it kind hard for us to stay in Saigon for couple of weeks before we traveled to Halong Bay and the famous beaches. Something has never changed since my family left the city to American.
