A wonderful Christmas

What is the true meaning of Christmas? It is a question heard often during the Christmas season, year after year, from TV personalities, writers or ordinary people. The meaning of Christmas seems to be forever in danger of being lost.
My little cousin, Mary, thinks that Christmas means “Santa Claus” and my girlfriend, Christine, thinks that Christmas means something beautiful like a snow-covered silent night.
For me, Christmas is a time when you can show love to everyone around you. A time to consider your attitude and try to make up for the things you have done.
Today is Christmas Eve. All my family is preparing for Christmas. Mom is trying to finish the festivity table, my father is adding globes and tinsel to the Christmas tree and my cousin Mary has already finished her letter for Santa Claus.
She wrote something like that:
“Dear Santa, me and my cousin have been very good this year. I know this letter might be a little early, but i am really excited about Christmas! This year i would mostly like to have a new Barbie doll and two Bratz dolls.
How many elves do you have in your workshop?
One day i wish i could see you and Mrs. Claus.
For my cousin i want a new and interesting book.
Does it always snow at the Notrthpole? It must be really cold if it does! I can’t wait the Christmas day!
From Mary Smith
P.S. do you like cookies and milk?”
I love my little cousin. She is always funny and she makes me laugh a lot.
It’s already 11 o’clock. We need to go to bed. Tommorow is the big day, Christmas. I will think of a wonderful Christmas.
