Sustainability has now become world's number one issue to be pursued for achieving a continuous development. It is a process that meets the current needs of humanity without compromising the ability of future generation to fulfill future needs. Sustainability actually resolves the conflicts between the development of human society and the nature environment. The concept of sustainability is mentioned at a time when environmental problems caused by the various human activities are requiring serious attention. Sustainability has become increasingly important to business strategy and management over time, and the risks of failing to act decisively are growing. The report – “The Sustainable Business” conducted by MIT Sloan Management Review and The Boston Consulting Group indicates that companies need to develop a better understanding of the implications of sustainability for their business-and that the companies already doing so are seeing significant benefits.
