V for Vendetta - 1

The movie ‘V for Vendetta’ talks about the time in Britain where there existed torture cells, unfair punishments, prejudice against minorities. The government had a tight hold over the people and kept them from getting the proper news. Amidst all the chaos and drama created by the government, there emerged only one man who stood up against the government and tried to lead the country towards a rebellion. He named himself ‘V’ and the government labelled him as a terrorist. One night as V was on the way to blow up a public monument that stood for justice, he runs into a young beautiful girl named Evey Hammond. She was being attacked by the secret police in an alley and V rescues her from them. This leads to form a weird connection between the two of them and Evey becomes his ally. V had certain personal reasons for his rebellion as well. He too had been tortured and treated unfairly by the government without him doing any wrong. So he declares that on the 5th of November, he and all those who were against the government would protest against the government once and for all and he would blow up the parliament as it stood for the justice that was never given to them. Meanwhile, the government is on their toes, trying to find out who V is and what the cause for his anguish was. One of the main detectives on the case, detective Finch is lead to uncover the whole truth making him question whether he was on the right side. The movie ends with the death of V after he manages to start up a massive rebellion and blows up the parliament with a little help of Evey.
