Topic:  Anabolic Steroids
Specific Purpose: To persuade and inform the audience about usage and the positive effects that can be brought out by them.
Thesis Statement: Steroids have been proven to have amazing capabilities and they could be the end of the search for the fountain of youth.

I.  INTRODUCTION
A.  When we hear about steroids its usually on the T.V or radio talking about the latest athlete who’s admitted to using anabolic steroids, usually this doesn’t end well for the athlete, as well as the view on steroids. I agree that he was wrong to use them, that gave him an unfair advantage on the field and clearly is a banned substance in almost all sports, but what about general use outside of a professionally sanctioned sport? When we hear about steroids we also think about the side effects of steroids such as “roid rage” or acne and so on. But based off of what we hear from television, how do you really know if steroids cause these problems? This is the reason why I decided to do more research on steroids and from what I found I would like to share my findings with you.

C.  Thesis and Preview: Today I’d like to talk to you about first, the need for organ donors in our area, second, how you can become an organ donor after you die, and finally, how your family and organ donor recipients benefit from you donation.

II.  BODY
A.  People around the world but also right here in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, and Illinois, need organ transplants and they need our help.
1.  The problem is that there is a lack of organs and organ donors who make organ transplantation possible.
