INTRODUCTION
Continuing professional development (CPD) is a process that benefits an individual in managing their own learning and growth in their career. Through this process an individual goes about setting their goals for development and then charts a plan on how to go about achieving them. There isn’t any set approach to go by however the focus lies on achieving the desired results. The CPD process is more about if we are able to apply what we have learnt in theory in to practice. (Continuing Professional Development (CPD), 2014). In this report, as mentioned for the assessment process of the HR Advisor role I would be reflecting on my understanding of an HR Professional and reflect on the four concentric circles of HR Professionalism and assess myself against them

As an HR advisor, I will be responsible for the full range of HR functions within the department which would include areas such as resourcing and talent planning, reward management, training and development and keeping up with the HR legislative practices.
