Abortion a woman's right to choose
For Defending a Position i will discuss abortion. Abortion even today
is a very touchy subject. as a man many people believe or opinions on this are
from the outside looking in. I believe that on this subject it should total be
up to the woman involved. Their are many circumstances that others may not
understand that can influence this decision for a woman. Whether it is rape
birth defects or financial instability. I believe that all children should come
into this world into a loving home. If the person is not ready to this for the
child i believe it is her right to choose weather or not to bring the child into
the world.
I am also very aware of the flip side of this subject. I believe that this decision should not be taken lightly. Every baby should be able to enter this world and be loved. But honestly lets face it this is not possible. their are circumstances where this is not possible. and with those instances i believe it is better for everyone if the child is not brought into the world.
Some people will say that adoption is always an option. I agree to an extent. Their are times where this is not posable. Their are times where it could cause extreme danger to the mothers health. And their are times where it could cause extreme emotional distress to the mother.
Some women regret their decision. According to Living in the shadow: in the aftermath of abortion, some women find themselves living with regret as a constant companion
" page 1 paragraph 7
Even though the symptoms of post-abortion trauma vary, they are commonly triggered by an unexpected sense of loss and are often intensified by feelings of guilt." For me it all boils down to the fact that it is the woman's right to choose. Take it or leave it this is my opinion.
