Abortion has always been one of the biggest argument for as long as a can remember. Many people believe it is sinful and even looked at as murder. One side of the matter is the abortionists and their main argument is that a woman should have the right to do what she wants with her body. On the opposite end, it is the people against abortion believe that killing the fetus is just like murdering a human being. There are many reasons a person who is pregnant may seek an abortion, including that their own lives may be at risk or the fetus itself is dying or already dead, they were raped, or they are completely unprepared to give a pregnancy the proper care that it needs in order to be healthy thinking that it can never be resolved. With this in mind the main issue I will address is the fact that so many women seek to use as a form of birth control (having several abortions) instead of being responsible by using a condom.
The topic itself in my opinion is as simple as life and death. It is a choice that involves the put an end to a life. It is a complicated decision that many women make every day. In a situation such as rape thing happening can be negative to a women’s life and wrongful. It is also unfair that a life was created through an act of violence, but the life given did not have a choice and should be given a chance. Keeping a child as a result of rape, would be a constant reminder of the horrible event, but giving an innocent child a chance at life would be a great gift depending on the circumstances. But at the same time as woman’s we have the right to control what we want to do with it and what we do not want to do with our bodies. And I can see why women would believe they should have the right to abort an unwanted fetus. Yes, I had an abortion and lately I have found myself debating with other women about it.
