I would like to set up my own business. I believe that the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business is uniquely positioned to provide me with the high quality interdisciplinary business education I am looking for. In order to build run, and grow a business successfully, there are skills that are difficult to obtain while working for a large multinational. I am looking to build on my experience with a Chicago MBA with a focus on entrepreneurship and international business. I have visited the School and I am convinced that, in addition to one of the best MBA programs in the world it offers an enriching, friendly environment in which to grow both personally and professionally. Of particular interest to me is the strength of the School's entrepreneurial curriculum. The School offers a challenging and enriching environment for entrepreneurs and this was evident in my conversations with students and in the classes I attended The quality of professors like Steven Kaplan and James Schrager contributes significantly to the high academic level of the entrepreneurship program. Moreover, combining this program with the IMBA offers skills needed to pursue entrepreneurial efforts across national borders as would be the case with me. Finally, working towards an MBA at the University of Chicago will enable me to integrate and investigate the Chicago market. This is a key point for me because I want to start my business in a larger urban center and Chicago would offer an ideal location for assessing demand and targeting potential clients for my project.

I feel confident that I can make significant contributions to the School's social and academic life. My international education and my career as an international consultant and auditor have provided me with a broad perspective of worm affairs and business, albeit within a specific industry.
