Activity 4: Evaluating the process used and reviewed own learning and performance in carrying out the Action Based Project

Why do teenagers drink and what are the consequences of young people drinking?

In this activity I aim to firstly evaluate the process used to carry out my Action Based Project and secondly to review my own learning and performance in carrying out my Action Based Project.

Firstly, in order top evaluate the process used in carrying out the Action Based Project, I am going to comment on

• The manageability of my chosen task
• The clarity of my intended task and outcomes
• Obtaining methods
• The content and details of my Action plan
• The structure and presentation of my Action Based Project as a whole

I will finally highlight a strength and an area for improvement. In order to review my own learning and performance in carrying out the Action Based Project, I will identify targets I have met and demonstrate evidence of my achievements. I will do this by referring specifically to table 3 in activity 2. I will also:

• Draw attention to knowledge and skills which helped me to complete my Action Based Project
• Identify what I have learnt
• Explain where the learning could be applied

Evaluating the process used in carrying out the Action Based Project.
Manageability

When I started doing the Action Based Project I felt that it was going to be an impossible task but as I started writing it I broke it up into small steps and activities which made it easier for me to make the deadlines.

Clarity of intended outcome

The topic which was decided upon seemed to be a very broad subject but I decided to use a process that made it more focused and manageable, I broke it into to aims I further spilt them into four factors which help explain them. This made the Action Based Project a lot easier and provided me with a guideline to base my whole project on.
