Analysis of R’US Career Ad

This ad comes from the magazine National Association of colleges and Employers, The product that this ad is trying to promote is job opportunities for the R’US Cop. Such as Toys’R’US and Babies’R’Us, the main type of audience that they are trying to pull into the ad is men and women the ages of 18-22 either ne college students or freshly graduated college students,
The main description of this ad working from top to the bottom would first be the script text style of writing in ” Declare your Independence from the dull and boring” This would be something that would at a first glance would catch the eye of the reader drawing them in to learn more about the ad the reason for this type of writing and choice of words would be the company wants you to join their family in a career field of theirs trying to say you are not a independent person until you join our family and that your life may be dull but if you start a job with us then you won’t be dull and you’ll be the person you’re supposed to be.
At the top left corner of the page there is a stamp or seal with the company logo in it with the same works around it “ Declare your Independence from the dull and boring”, This is referencing along with the script type of text to the Declaration of Independence relating to independent individuals which this ad seems to be grabbing at also catches the eye as well, In the middle of the page you have to logos of the companies that are owned and a brief Description of what they strive for at this place of business and to the right of that there is a small box that has the positions that they are looking for and where they are located at through the United States, This would appeal to the reader that has already showed more interest in the ad because they have continued on with the reading.
