Advantages
After graduating from high school, Bob joined the US Navy. Moreover, he was not sure what carrier he wanted to pursue. However, after talking to a number of people including a carrier counselor, Bob deiced to become a Mess Management Specialist, which is a glorified name for a cook. In fact, after eighteen years as a professional cook, Bob realizes that there some advantages to learning how to cook.
Some advantages to learning how to cook are being able to read a cook book, knowing how to feed oneself and preparing a good meal.
Consequently, the advantage of learning how to cook is being able to read a cook book, understanding a recipe, and preparing a good meal. If one doesn’t understand how to prepare a recipe for cream of mushroom soup, one will ruin it. Learning how to measure the ingredients correctly is important. If one doesn’t measure the ingredients correctly one could spoil the product. Meal planning, meal planning is most important if one can’t plan a meal one will not have enough food.
Therefore, the advantage of learning how to cook is knowing how to feed oneself. By not going to a restaurant everyday to feed oneself, food taste better if one prepares it oneself, compared to eating out all the time. One will be able to lower the food cost by buying ones own food and preparing it oneself; one will be able to save about forty five dollars a week. By shopping for ones own food one will know how fresh it is and be able to purchase only what one needs.
Thus, the advantages of learning how to cook, is preparing a good meal, by having some good friends over to ones home, to eat so one can show off ones cooking skills. Being able to have a date over, one will be able to have a quiet and romantic meal that will impress her. Being proud of ones cooking skills, by proud of ones cooking skills one will be interested in learning more about cooking.
