Good morning teacher my name is Tristan. I’m studying my English in upper inter class D. My topic is the problem of tourism. Please allow me explain my outline first. I will state two main problems. Then, I will give you recommendations about how to solve the problem and a conclusion at the end of this presentation.
Finally tourism can have bad effects for locals. For example natural landscape and environment be destroyed.
The first problem is that local government change they natural landscape to artificial landscape. As we all know, more and more tourism revenue cause to that government only care about the number of tourist. The government is unaware of the destruction of local environment. Also they doesn’t care the result about modern building destroy natural landscape.
This photo shows us the natural landscape of hz xihu. It’s quiet nice. When u stand on this boat, u can feel soft wind. The feeling like mother gently stroke my body. But so many people and so many building change the feeling.
The second problem also cause of the more and more tourism revenue. The government allow some badness trade. Such as prostitute themselves be allowed by Thailand government, Permit to operate casino in Singapore. Both of these two countries know that badness trade bad for local people. All those who have been to Thailand know that prostitutes have higher income than other works. As a result, many poor families send their children to be prostitutes; these children lost their virginity very early. Also lead to too much pressure to bear children. Do u think this is the advantage of tourism?
The third problem is the tourists unwitting transmit the virus as a vector. Such as the spread of SARS. Tourists bring some animals that are not belonging to local natural environment. Also some tourists have the opportunity to smuggling.
