The Casey Anthony Case was said to have one of the most shocking verdicts of the decade. It was also a very important case in our history. Casey Anthony was a normal, pretty, young, Florida mother. Not the average child murderer. That is one reason this case got so much media attention. If it had been anyone else being tried for such a horrific case, not only would the verdict shift, but the case also wouldn't have been so engulfing to America. Either way, this baffling case has left a huge impact on our nation.
Casey Anthony has many accusations against her when it comes to the murder of her daughter. For one, she failed to report her Caylee missing until a month later. This is not only incriminating, but shocking. How could a loving mother go on for a month, not knowing where her daughter is? Aside from not reporting that Caylee was missing, Casey also lied to investigators about multiple things. For example, at first Casey told police that a nanny who cared for Caylee had kidnapped her. This woman had never really existed. She told police she had talked to Caylee on the phone about normal 2-year-old things the day she was reported missing. a fabrication. These are a few of the many assortment of lies Casey Anthony told investigators. Casey also admitted to lying about all these things, but continued to say she was innocent. But why would Casey Anthony lie about so many things if she was just a young, innocent mother searching for her child?
After playing all these games with police, you'd think this case would be closed, but no. Casey finally decided to admit that Caylee drown in the family pool on June 16, 2008, a month prior to reporting Caylee missing. Casey also told police that her father, George Anthony, had molested...
