Everyone has a dream , aspiration ambition , your goal is to do anything to fulfill it. In realization, sometimes your desires are honestly impossible. Yet, in your heart, you do anything and everything to try to make it happen.

The book "Goal .! The Dream Begins" by Robert Rigby is a book that talks about determination and hard work. This book takes place in Los Angeles, California and England during modern times. The main characters in this story are Santiago Muñoz ,Glen Foy, and Mercedes. Some of the minor characters in the story would be Roz, Gavin Harris, and Herman. Santiago is a illegal immigrant from Mexico with only one thing on his mind , soccer. He grew up on the streets of Mexico, and his family is poor. His Grandmother Mercedes lives with them and his dad Herman is a landscaper who opposes of his dream on soccer. On his local team, Glen Foy a scout comes from one of the biggest soccer clubs in Britain and sees Santiago playing and he admires the player's talent and skills. Muñoz gets a try out for one month and wants to go against his dad's orders. He also likes and falls for Roz , the nurse at the health center. A lot of This book is about how he tries to make his dream come true of playing professional soccer. Glen Foy then talks to Santiago about trying out for the Newcastle United Soccer team in England, which is hard to make. Glen Foy then sets up Santiago with a trial with the Newcastle United team. However, during his medical exam Santiago lies about his asthma which threatens his chance of making it on the Newcastle United team.
