The form of alternate energy that is going to be used on the house is Solar Energy. To create the electricity using the solar energy, there would be installed solar electric systems. Depending on the electric system that is used, it would give off an amount of power in to the solar panels. A solar panel is usually made up of solar panel battery designed for solar use, and three fluorescent lights. The battery stores enough energy to provide light for several hours every night.
The way that solar energy is converted into electricity is that the solar panels are made of solar cells. They are attached by wire to a circuit. As light strikes the it , light is converted into electricity that flows through a circuit. As soon as the light is removed, the solar cell stops producing power.
The house hold appliances used in the house are the basic ones; a refrigerator, a microwave, washing machine and dryer. A Refrigerator is required an estimated amount of 600 watts. In order to run the refrigerator on solar panels, ten 85 watt solar panels are needed. A Microwave is required an estimated amount of 1100-2000 watts. In order to run the Microwave on solar panels, twelve 85 solar panels are needed. A washing machine is required an estimated amount of 920watts. In order to run the washing machine on solar panels, an estimated eight to ten 85 watt solar panels are needed. The same information for the washing machine is applied to the dryer as well.
