All over the world ,There are many mysterious , amazing and wonderful places which have special , unique and peculiar natural formations . Especially in Australia ,you can see many amazing places . For example : Uluru The Lost city The Bungle Bungle The Twelve Apostles Devils Barbles Walls of China Uluru Once better known as Ayers Rock until its Aborginal name , Uluru , became more popular . it’s the second largest single rock in the world . Uluru is 348 meters high , 3.6 kilometers long , 1.9 kilometers wide and 9.4 kilometers around . {draw:frame} {draw:frame} The Lost city The complex freestanding sandstone block and pillar formations of the Lost city in Litchfield National Park can show you that ruins of a long forgotten civilization . It’s very spectacular sight and extremely rocky and rough . {draw:frame} The Bungle Bungle {draw:frame} Purnululu National Park the Bungle Bungle Ranges was discovered by white men in 1980’s . Over span of 350 million years river washed sand and pebbles into the area layer-upon-layer and the sand was ground finer and harder together until it formed sunstone rock . Strong winds and heavy rains have eroded the sandstone away to shapes that we see today . In 2003 it was declared a World Heritage . {draw:frame} {draw:frame} {draw:frame} The Twelve Apostles The Twelve Apostles are giant rock stackswhich are the remnants from constant erosion of the limestone cliff of the mainland that began 10-20 million years ago . The stormy southern ocean and blasting winds gradually eroded the softer limestone , forming caves in the cliff . {draw:frame} {draw:frame} Devils Marbles {draw:frame} The devils marbles are a collection of gigantic rounded granite boulders which are often precariously balanced on top of one another .
