The Slave Trade, The Cuban Slave Trade and Its Effects On Cuba
Paragraph 1 - Opening Paragraph that summarizes my whole paper, end with a thesis statement that will also summarize my whole paper.
Paragraph 2 – Talk about the slave trade in general. About how they treated the captives on the ships and about how the slaves were captured and about how the voyage was and other things like that. Talk about the Spanish slave trade, about how the Spanish treated their slaves on the way over to the new world and how they captured and operated their slave trade. ?
Paragraph 3 – Talk about how Cuba became involved in the slave trade, and why they needed to have slaves. Why they brought them over, for what reason?
Paragraph 4 – Talk about what the slaves did in Cuba and what did they work for. As opposed to what slaves in America and other places did.
Paragraph 5 – Talk about what these slaves did for the economy and if the Cuban economy at the time had been so reliant on slavery.
Paragraph 6 – How were the working environments for the slaves in cuba, were they different or the same for those slaves in America. Was there racism? As harsh?
Paragraph 7 – Where did these slaves come from? What part of Africa? What did they bring to cuba from Africa and what effects did they have on cuba.
Paragraph 8 – Afro-Cuban effects on music, food, and religion. And why did they effect cuba and give them these unique cultures instead of America.
Paragraph 9 – Speak about the abolishment of slavery in cuba and when slavery ended as opposed to other countries.
Paragraph 10 – Speak about about the effects on the demographics in cuba when slaves came there and today and their social status today, and what it has done to the mulatto population. Also if racism still exist today and if their culture still exist today.
Paragraph 11 – Conclusion paragraph, restate thesis and sum up all of my ideas as well as conclude the essay.
