The musician that I interviewed is Alandre’ N. Brissett, stage name Zone. He was born in Bunkers Hill Trelawney Jamaica but moved to Montego Bay in 1993 to live with his and Stepmother. He started singing at the age of nine many places such as church. He formed a gospel group (comprised of three persons) and started singing at various church events because he was a Christian and he loved singing gospel music. He entered the secular world in 2005 working in various hotels in and around the north coast. His love for music came from the influences of Reggae music and R&B. He admired artist like Morgan Heritage, Luciano, Sizzla, Beres Hammond, Brian McKnight, Gerald Levert and Donny Hathaway. I can stay that the energy that he gives off when perform is wonderful I enjoy listening to him and I just felt at home with his music and the audience enjoyed it as well. He performs at clubs such as Hurricane located in Delray Beach, Kahuna located in Deerfield Beach and Two Georges located in Boynton Beach along with many other places. Before coming the United States four months ago, he...
