Years ago early in our country’s history there lived a general who led our country through many wars and battles. His name was General Arnold Watson. Watson was a great man and general who was beloved by the people he fought for. He had a long, thick, grey curling mustache and medium length grey hair. Watson was not only a great general but he was also a great father. He fathered three children, one girl and two boys. General Watson was also known for being a fornicator. Watson’s daughter was the only legitimate child he had her name was Bethel. Watson’s sons were from two different women he had laid with while married to Bethel’s mother.
Because of Watson’s cheating ways Bethel’s mother had died of a broken heart. After she died Watson’s sons left to go live with their real mothers. So Watson was left all alone in a big empty house with Bethel. But on the night of Bethel’s 13th birthday the house became haunted and Bethel’s body had been over taken by the evil spirit of her dead mother. Every priest in the country had tried to relinquish the evil spirit but none had succeeded. Bethel’s mother’s spirit would only haunt them at night. General Watson and his daughter had no other choice but to live with the haunting spirit for the rest of their lives. But one day after years of exorcisms and hauntings General Watson thought of an idea to get rid of the spirit of his late wife. He remembered that when Bethel was a young toddler she always had long black hair and when she cried her mother would brush it to get it to stop. While she brushed it she would sing to her apologizing for whatever made her cry in the first place, she said it soothed them both. So when it was time for the spirit to start its relentless haunting Watson tied Bethel down and started to brush her hair gently even as the spirit screeched and cursed.
