When personal, organizational and cultural values, along with Ethics are discussed; many times these terms are seen as being similar in nature. However each of these terms has its own unique meaning. Value gives individuals the power to take action. As stated in the article by Shauo, (2002). “Values serve as guiding principles to our everyday lives and provide a foundation for attitudes and behaviors” (p,1447). In the (1998) article by Jaffe and Scott, it states “Values are powerful motivators, they represent an organizing principle for people's lives, as well as for organizations” (p,24).
