I grew up in a part of North Philadelphia called the Badlands and from the age of twelve i did nothing but get into trouble from drinking wine,smoking marijuana to steeling cars trouble was my middle name. By the age of fourteen my parents couldn't put up with my shenanigans any longer so my mother and father decided to place me in a place called Northern Home for boys. I guess they were hoping this would calm me down, but little did they know it would only further my need for what I considered fun. While in Northern Home I met a bunch of other kids like myself with whom i now considered my brothers. I loved it so much there that every time I was to got to court to see if was I was ready to return home I would get into a fight or steel something so the judge would give me more time at N.H. When it was time to go on home visits I would stay at a friends house instead of going to my parents house so I could do as I wanted for the whole weekend. I was originally sentenecd to six months at N.H but after seeing how easy it was to get into trouble and not be physically disciplined I turned six months into two and a half years for bad behavior. After leaving N.H at the age of seventeen I was ready to go home so I thought. When I returned back to the streets of North Philadelphia I found that a lot of things had changed,all my friends I left when I went to N.H were now the neighborhood drug dealers they had everything from girls to nice cloths to cars and at that moment I knew what I wanted to do for the rest of my life but there was only two problems my mom and dad. After doing nothing with myself for the next three months my father felt it was time to have a man to man talk with me, and what he said to me would forever change my life, he told me that it was time for me to pay my own way if I was to continue staying under his roof and that I had two choices either get a job or sell drugs it didn't matter two him but I needed pay my own way and by the way this story...
