Discrimination is making a distinction about a person or group of people. It is the denial of opportunities and equal rights to people and groups of prejudice or other reasons. Prejudice is any kind of negative attitude toward an entire category of people, a group of a certain race or ethnic minority. Prejudice only involves attitudes, beliefs and thoughts about an entire category of people. If a white person grew up in an area where there were not many black people around, than that white person may have prejudice thoughts about the entire category of black people. Stereotyping is generalization about people that have nothing to do with who the person really is. Stereotyping is thinking certain things about people that are not entirely true, such as black eat a lot of chicken and...
