In this 21 century, economy and business environment is changing every minute. New country’s policies, relationship between difference national or new technology are rising up every day. So that we should absorb new data and information esquire youself to face the future challenge.
For my own opinion, fine technical skill and expertise for the job are no longer the only advantage to support today environment. As the globalization, people have more and more chances to communicate and connect with others from all over the world. To success in career, all you need is to understand the past, current and future of the place you are located and also the outside of it.
Because the special geographical and political reasons, Hong Kong is just like a bridge between eastern and western. To understand the Political, Economic, Social, Technological (PEST) of rest of the world is the most crucial point to achieve distinct advantage in a competitive world.
As a current student at CITYU, I had selected “Organizational Behavior” and “Comparative Management” as elective course. After the taste of the class, it made me feel interest in the difference between eastern and western, especially in social, political and cultural. It also lets know the act of foreigner may not only reason by personality but also background or history of their home country. In this case, I would like to take another chance to study deeply inside and have a new angle for analyze.
