Assmilation

Many Immigrants and people of different race are affected by assimilation everyday in American. Assimilation is a process of a person modifying their life so they can fit in where ever they live, so they're not seen different from other people. The people who takes part in assimilation feels the need to change who they are so they don't have to be oppressed for being different. By doing this they lose who they are whether it's the way they dress, the way speak, or what language they speak, culture, and religion. They lose their identity.
