Why I Attend Paul Quinn College
And
What I Hope To Accomplish This Year

I attend Paul Quinn College because my friend told me about the college. At the time I was just trying to get in where I could the fastest. After being out of school for a year, helping with my family, and working, it gets tiring. And you start wanting to do things on your own and by yourself. Also I wanted to get out of San Antonio, but not go to far away from home. If I had stayed in San Antonio, I probably would have started getting into trouble and not going to college at all. But by not wanting to go to school in San Antonio and having a friend help me get into college, it boosted me to put in an application for Paul Quinn College.
This is my second year here at Paul Quinn College. I am still here to further my education in Sociology. To make it in this world today, you need to have a college degree. So I plan on taking my major and becoming a Social Worker in the Child Welfare Department with a PhD. I also plan on opening up my own clinic with private counseling.
There are many accomplishments that many people hope to accomplish this year. But I hope to accomplish making it through this year. With all the new rules and expectations, I hope to be able to abide by them. By doing what I’m expected to do, I’ll stay out of the president’s office, not get any unnecessary hours, and be able to stay at school. I think if everyone does as they are told and what is expected of them, they will accomplish so much more than they thought they would. I hope by the end of this year I will have accomplished making it through another year at Paul Quinn College.
