The empowerment of growth within a business is not something handed to you with instructions on the daily basis. Depending on your field of business, there are different requirements involved for growth and success of an agency. From processes that require hours to days or even months all can be determine by using resources such as benchmarks within and agency and others can be made by semi-annual or annually reports of different departments within the agency. It takes a lot of thought for agencies to take the plunge in deciding what and how they will provide services that will succeed in the long haul. Although, the ultimate goal, finish product and results are the motivation for most agencies to invest time, funds and patience. I have been with a non-profit organization for four years now and have witness firsthand the struggles and success of the agency especially with expansions of new Early Head Start centers to its program. Patience, finances, planning, the right people, hard-work and great organizational skills are vital to successfully provide a successful service. Using my firsthand experience and knowledge I have successfully gain throughout the years I will discuss the following pages the strategic design, political system and the culture of the agency.

Working close by to the Executive Senior Director of Operations of AVANCE in the expansion of the Early Head Start program the following was the process encountered. The structure in which the agency falls through is led by one individual who holds the position of Senior Executive Director of the entire agency and the different programs they have. This is the person who everyone wants to have a great relationship with if the opportunity to a director’s position is desired within the agency.
