Ávila Mágica, truly magical.

I was born in the most beautiful country ever. At least, I think so. Everywhere you go, there is something to do. One of my favorite places in the whole world is Avila Mountain. This is a huge mountain covered with all kinds of green shades, that you can see from almost everywhere in Caracas, Venezuela. However, the main attraction in the impressive mountain is the cable railway. This is an amazing way to travel. While you´re up in the air, you can’t help being absolutely dazzle by the scenery you´re watching. The plants, millions of ancient trees, perfectly aline on the ground above you. The sky, opens up to you like you were floating on the infinite blue space. There is nothing but silence and peace in those minutes. It´s like nature is showing you her most enchanting, simple side, all in one place.
When you finish your quick travel to the top of the mountain, you get to “Ávila Mágica”. The weather is absolutely fantastic. There´s always a pleasant and light mist surrounding everything, and the sun light filters in it, creating a pale yellow glare around. In this wonderful place, all you hear is joy. Kids running happily, family and friends laughing or enjoying a good meal together. You can smell delicious food on many stands. Perhaps a chicken soup, grill sausages, cake icing or coffee. There´s nothing better that drinking a sweet hot chocolate on one of the fences that have the view to the city, while you are surrounded by the perfect chilled weather.
Going west on the mountain, you´ll spot a leaned and rocky path that leads to a place called Galipan. You can get there by car or walking depending of your level of energy. It is a narrow, rustic track after all. On the way to Galipan, you´ll appreciate the astonishing nature everywhere you look. You´ll know you´re almost there when you smell the combined essence of flowers and honey. There are many little stands around a big stone square. Flowers fill with color the cozy little...
