The Orange Wave Football Team is a New York based Board of Education High School Sports Culture Awareness Organization that dedicates its services to students of New York City. Based in East New York, Brooklyn we service students from Council District #42 as well as students in Council Districts #35, #36, #40, #41, #45 and #47; Assembly Districts #38, #40, #54 and #55. As long as a student is enrolled in our school, Thomas Jefferson Campus, and their grades meet the PSAL requirements, the student is eligible to play.

Thomas Jefferson Campus consists of four schools on one campus. The schools are all located at 400 Pennsylvania Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11207. The schools are as follows: High School for Fire and Life Safety (FDNY), Performing Arts and Technology High School (PATH), World Academy for Total Community Health High School (WATCH), and High School for Civil Rights (HSCR).

Our contact football program (Orange Wave) in its 30+ season. In the 2009 – 2010 seasons, our Varsity team went to the Cup Championship and won for the first time in over 30+ years. In the same season 2009 – 2010 our Jr. Varsity team went undefeated which also made them Champions on the JV level to become the first JV division in Thomas Jefferson history to accomplish that ranking.

The Orange Wave football team is seeking monetary funds to assist in getting some much deserved game uniforms, practice uniforms, field equipment, trophies, banners, sweat suits; camp fees and other game accessories for the players and coaches. The football program is endorsed by the Board of Education and PSAL. Unfortunately due to budget cuts, we have not received anything from either source for the past several years.

Schools in Staten Island (Tottenville & Curtis) and a few schools in Brooklyn (Fort Hamilton, Midwood and Canarsie) are fortunate enough to charge their players and actually receive payment. Unfortunately here...
