Kim says obscene language to others, especially Tanya. She made others really unhappy when she was saying bad stuffs. A good girl won’t say bad words, they won’t do some violence to others but Kim did that. She was not a good girl.

Betrayal is the breaking or violation of a presumptive contract, trust, or confidence that produces moral and psychological conflict within a relationship amongst individuals, between organizations or between individuals and organizations. Melanie extremely affected Mandy psychological aspect. Many teenagers are the victims of biopsychosocial torture by perpetrators operating with near impunity. (Moreover, our opponent has just mentioned “Men at their birth, are naturally good.”  No matter what a person started from good or bad, the most important is now, how they behave now.)
Affirmative:
Kim: Although she didn’t say sorry to Mandy, at circle time she felt blushed and embarrassed, it shows that she knew she is wrong and she didn’t bully Mandy anymore.
Rebuttals: Decide who are “Bad girls” does not based on whether they knew what is good and bad, is based on what they have done before and how does it affect others. Kim kept on bullying Mandy and let Melanie betrayed Mandy. She even said some dirty words to Mandy’s friend Tanya. Our dear opponent, doesn’t you think she is bad?
Tanya: Although she stole things, she cared about friendship, she knew she do wrong and didn’t want to let her friend Mandy to get the punishment as her.
Rebuttals: Although she cared about Mandy and cared about friendship, it doesn’t mean that she was not a bad girl. Shoplifting is evena crime and she did it! Our dear opponent, do you still think that Tanya is a good girl?
Melanie: Although she had betrayed Mandy before, she apologized at last. She knew that she did wrong.
Rebuttals: In the novel, Melanie did not only betrayed Mandy, she even became the one of the gang of Kim! Suffered by friendship...
