Walt Disney Company is a leader in entertainment for all ages, by owning Marvel they have expanded into another area. By buying another source of entertainment that already has followers can be both good and bad because you get the followers but the followers also expect the new company to keep up the same style of the entertainment.
Walt Disney Company’s mission and vision statement is, “The Walt Disney Company's objective is to be one of the world's leading producers and providers of entertainment and information, using its portfolio of brands to differentiate its content, services and consumer products. The company's primary financial goals are to maximize earnings and cash flow, and to allocate capital toward growth initiatives that will drive long-term shareholder value.” (Jurevicius, 2013) This is a statement that is good for the company, the customers, and the stockholders. Disney Company has many things going for them because they are in many areas of entertainment, like games, movies, theme parks and more. This helps to keep the company well rounded and it always has a backup if something were to just end suddenly.
Communication is an important in any business but in Disney Company they seem to try to appeal to all ages to keep the possibilities open. Communication for Disney Company is open because they are communicating with children and adults the same. Communication is the business world is all the same because they have to get there point across to many people. The way that a company communicates helps to show the consumers how the company wishes to be portrayed to the business world and the consumer world just the same.
