Been to the Gym Lately?

It happens every summer, people start trading in their jackets and pants for bikinis and board shorts. They loose the layers and start showing some skin. It is usually not until now, that people notice something about themselves, they’re fat. Its time to hit the gym. Ballys Total Fitness is a prime example when talking about these seasonal weight lifters. The Ballys gym in Cerritos has designed their facility with their new members in mind. The physical environment is set up for easy “wayfinding” for the occasional visitor. Signs are posted everywhere, and on every machine guiding the member on how to workout properly. The large amount of ignorant members means a safe environment is key. Employees and personal trainers are located throughout to help in anyway necessary. The Ballys Total Fitness gym in Cerritos is a very consumer friendly place.
As you approach the corner of Del Amo and Pioneer, you will see a big white building with great big red cursive letters on the front, spelling out “Ballys Total Fitness.” The building is the largest in the shopping center, and seems to be the main attraction of that particular mini mall. This is easy to see when trying to find parking anywhere near the building. The front entrance is located directly beneath the big red letters, right in the center of the big white building. There are two glass doors, “Entry” on the right, and “Exit” on the left. After you walk through the entrance, an employee, holding a bar code scanner, will greet you. He/she (usually she) sits there all day ready and waiting to scan your membership card for entry approval. To the left of the front desk are an assortment of refrigerators and vending machines filled with energy drinks, health foods and protein shakes.
