India is worlds largest democracy. Is Indian democracy an experiment in governance or a huge muddle time only will tell. How a billion indians today form a sea of humanity which has been flowing for ages, different in many ways yet having a common thread. India even with its great problems despite difficulties yet survives its own tribulations and pains. People here enjoyed peace freedom and difficulties which is something a number of people in other countries do not even imagine. Combining a cultural flow of the type of India with a sense of freedom is a unrivalled tale in human history.
India has reaped maximum benefits from being a democracy. Where one dares to dream and can find organisational support to fullfill his or her dreams is India. Poor in this country are as yet disadvataged yet they are able to get two square meals because of the ingrained religious beleifs of those who have and willing to share with those who do not have. Policies of the country made by corrupt and selfish are self centred . There are weaknesses which need to be overcome.
Last century has been a witness to resolve of indian people to brush aside theitr differences and shug along despite difficulties despite failures despite hatred despite opposition. A resolve that we as indians need to find a place for ourselves in the polity of nations need to be overcome. We need to find a place for ourselves we need to find a place for others.
