I remember him taken all that time to put all those lights up on the outside of the house and how much difficulty it was to climb that ladder and hang them up with a nail, then they even fall down, one, two or all of lights wouldn’t light up and then he wouldn’t have enough lights. He would have to go to the store to buy more. I used to think why did he take time and effort? What was the symbolization of these lights? That this time of year is about spending time with family and love ones that the lights being put up lift peoples spirits by seeing them even though all time it take to put them up that it is well with it.

Now I taken the time to travel hrs always to hang light up for my fiancée on her house. How I find the joy in putting them up. I got shook few time because the rain and few times they fell but I still work on putting them up.
