"I have a surprise for you." my mom told me over the phone.
I had been in Brazil for two weeks visiting my family and the next day, I would finally be going home.
"I can't wait to see you mommy." I replied with my squeaky voice.
After the phone call, I went to sleep thinking of my mom, and my surprise.
The next morning, my dad and I got up, said our goodbyes to our family, and then headed to the airport. Once we were there, we got our tickets, got on the plane, and we were off.
About ten hours later we were in Texas.
"How much longer until we see mommy?" I asked my dad, anxious to see her. Two weeks was a long time considering I was four.
"we have one more airplane to get on and then, we'll be in California." he replied.
Even though I was sad I wasn't going to see my mom and get my surprise right then, I was happy that I wouldn't have to go on a ten hour flight, but a three hour flight.
After what seemed like days. We got off the plane.
"how much longer until we see mommy?" I asked my dad again.
"Now, all we have to do is drive to her house, and then you'll see mommy."
We then went out to the parking lot, got into the car, and then my dad started driving.
Forty-Five minutes later, we then pulled up to my mom's house. I immediately jumped out of the car and ran to the door where my mom was standing, waiting for me.
"I missed you so much!" my mom told me as she hugged me so hard I could barely breathe.
"I missed you too." I replied.
I then said goodbye to my dad, "See you on Tuesday." I told him as I hugged him.
Love you." he said as he drove away.
My mom and I then went inside. After I told my mom all about the trip, she looked at me and smiled.
"Are you ready for your surprise?"
"Yes!" I exclaimed.
"Follow me." she said smiling. Obviously, she was excited about my present too.
We walked over to my bedroom door which was shut. My mom then opened it....
