Best friends are very special people in your life. They are the first people you think about when you make plans. They are the first people you go to when you need someone to talk to. They are the ones that you call just to talk about nothing, or the most important things in your life. When you’re sad they will try their hardest to cheer you up. They give the best hugs in the world! They are the shoulder to cry on, because you know that they truly care about you. They are the ones that you can do absolutely nothing with and still have the best time. They are the ones that irritate the crap out of you but at end of the day they are the ones you talk to. And they are the ones that would take a bullet for you, cause it would be too painful to watch you get hurt.
When I was little I thought that friends were to stay forever. That became a ground shaking experience when I went into to 6th grade and all the friends that I had in elementary school were no longer my so called friends. So I learned how to make new ones, that was almost foreign to me. Since I grew up with those girls, I had always relied on them, we always had birthday parties and movie nights and sleepovers together. So I learned how to survive without them. I had some close friends throughout middle school but none that I really could count on. Then I hit high school and I met one of my best friends and still to this day we are still best friends. We’ve been through a lot together boyfriends, back stabbing girls, cancer, death, classes, teachers, work, the beginnings of college, and now engagement.
How many girls can say that they have their own personal best friend that is like there brother and that nothing will happen from it? Well in my book not many. Many say that they have a best friend but he is their boyfriend. I on the other hand have a best friend that I can sit and cry on his shoulder with or watch a movie or talk to in aisle at work or call just to have a brotherly opinion on things,...
