Best Film
There are many films that I have seen that have left me with my mouth open, but there is one film that stuck out from all of them. My favorite film of all time is, I Am Legend. This film had so many moments that left me in amazement. It is about a man that spends several years by himself trying to find a cure for a horrible side effect that made the human race lose every bit of its human traits, as a result from the cure of cancer. What I loved about this film is that it was not focused on just one specific genre. It was mostly a thriller but it had small parts of Drama, Comedy, Action and Horror. Many people do not think that having so many genres in one film can be a good thing, but this film made it possible in my eyes.
An amazing thing about this film that no other film that I have seen has ever done is that, throughout most of the movie, there was only one actor. This actor was Will Smith. The work he did in this film made him my favorite actor of all time up to this day. He is a brilliant actor that can play multiple types of roles, which many actors have difficulty with. In the film, he plays the role of a man that spends many years alone trying to find a cure for a disease. As years go by he begins to go crazy from all the time he has spent alone. At one point he believes that he is the only human left on earth, but still feels the need to find a cure.
When it comes to films I am open to seeing whichever one, but I am a hard critic. I watch films with an open mind, but still have certain expectations. It is difficult for me to truly like a film and, I Am Legend, surpassed my expectations. I have seen films that I have truly enjoyed, but none that have came close to, I Am Legend. Films make up a very large part in the entertainment industry, which gives people many options to choose from. People in this world have their own specific opinions about films.
