Out of the three rulers and conquerors Cyrus, Darius, and Alexander the Great, Cyrus is the greatest. Although some people think against that because he was inexperienced, he was a brilliant leader. Cyrus allowed his people to keep their customs, ruled the largest empire the world had ever seen, and had the best strategies with his army. You may believe that he was not the best leader, but I can change your opinion with just a few points.
First and foremost, Cyrus allowed his people to keep their original customs. Customs are very important to people, and keeping them help them feel comfortable and safe. They like to practice whatever makes them feel is worth it. Due to allowing them to keep their customs, Cyrus had very few people that rebelled against him. They felt that he was a good leader for letting them do what they pleased.
Another reason why Cyrus was the best leader was because he ruled the largest empire the world had ever seen. Cyrus won independence from Persia, and conquered the Medes. He marked the beginning of the Persian empire. He also conquered Southwest Asia, the Asia Minor, Mesopotamia, and some land on the east. With that, he was a very powerful leader.
Lastly, Cyrus has the best strategies with his army. Some leaders just go wherever they want and put up a battle. These leaders are usually destroyed easily in battle. Cyrus had one of the best strategies any leader had come up with. He used his Cavalry, which were men on horse, to charge the enemy before the Immortals attacked, which were the army he chose for being the most skillful people. His Immortals and Cavalry working together could defeat almost everyone.
Cyrus is the greatest leader for many reasons. He allowed the people he conquered to keep their own customs, which left them happy and less rebellious. He ruled the largest empire the world had ever seen and marked important things...
