Bunny Hunting Ever since I was about 10 years old or so, I’ve had a big fascination with bunny hunting. At family reunions or other family gatherings when I’m in Southern Utah on my grandparents ranch, my cousins and I always love going there for a couple reasons. First of all, it’s nice just to be able to get out of the city, and to go down south to the country. I like escape all worries and just to be able to relax. Secondly, I love going down there because I get to spend time with my cousins, who I don’t get to see to much of because I am busy with other things such as school. And I just don’t have enough time to drive down to visit them whenever I want. And thirdly, I absolutely love going down to my grandpa’s ranch so I can go bunny hunting! Guns are shot, rabbits dropped, we scream out from excitement and joy! That right there is what happens, and in the right order, when we go bunny hunting! Also, when we go, we will usually get anywhere between 15-50 rabbits a night. That all depends on how long we stay out there, and whether or not there are a lot of rabbits out that night or not. The most we’ve ever shot in one night was 62. But that was rare. And it will probably never happen again because we were out until 4:30 in the morning that night, and also we were having a bunny pay-day! We saw hundreds that night. Some of the greatest memories that I have of bunny hunting came from that...
