Once upon a time there was something created that everything in the world needs. The one thing everything in the world needs is atoms. These atoms have an atomic number which is the amount of protons in the atomic nucleus which determines the element. Atoms also have charges which is an electrical property which causes opposite charges to attract and alike charges repel. In the charge there are electrons. These electrons have a negatively charged subatomic particle. Also in the charge there are neutrons and protons neutrons have no charge and protons have a positive charge which help determine the atoms charge. All the neutrons, protons, and electrons together for an atoms mass number. But when a substance consist of the same number of protons is an element. The brain of an atoms is the nucleus. It works every single part in an atom. When everything with a atom is an established element it now can be put on the periodic table which consists of elements by their atomic numbers. Although nuclease can be stable there are also unstable nucleases which is called radioisotope. This decay can be traced with its dateable component which is known as a tracer. Btu there is always atoms that have minds of their own. An atom with a unpaired electron Is known as a free radical. Another component of the atom is the ion. The ion is an fully charged atom. Also invented to help explain the atom in further detail is the shell model which is basically a model of electron distribution in a atom. But the best thing that makes the atom unique is the vast possibilities that an atom can have like an chemical compound. It is in attractive force that arises between two atoms when their electrons interact. Another possibly with atoms is they are able to create a compound. That’s a molecule that has atoms of more than one element. The next possibilities are the covalent and ionic bonds. A covalent bond is a type of chemical bond which two atoms share a...
