Biomedical Engineering

Biomedical Engineers use their knowledge of mechanical, electrical and biomedical. Biomedical Engineering is one of the fastest growing fields of engineering. There are many choices for them when choosing a university to study in this field, three of them are Boston University, Texas A&M University, and University of Texas in Austin.
There are many careers in Biomedical Engineering, for example, medical instrumentation, biomaterials, system physiology and modeling, biomechanics processing, medical imaging, biomechanics and rehabilitation engineering. Today there are more 14,000 biomedical engineers employed nationwide, on average they on around 50,800 to 79,610.

Research

• There are many branches of biomedical engineering including, Medical imaging, Clinical engineering, Genetic engineering, and Biomechanics. Medical imaging refers to the techniques and processes used to create Images of the human body. Clinical engineering is a specialty responsible for applying engineering technology for the improvement and delivery of health services. Genetic engineering is uses the techniques of molecular cloning and transformation to alter the structure and characteristics of genes directly. Biomechanics is the application of mechanical principles on living organisms.
