Bundaberg Brewed Drinks Pty Ltd Expand to Brazil
Bundaberg Brewed Drinks is an Australian family owned manufacturing organization. Bundaberg Ginger Beer is the main product of the company, they use ginger as the main material to produce ginger beer, and it creates a very nature taste. The company has only one manufacturing site which is in Bundaberg Queensland, they currently recruits approximately 120 employees. Although there are very less number of employees, the company still has no problems of processing because most of the processing stage is operated by machines.
Bundaberg exports their product to many countries, e.g. USA, Singapore. Currently they are seeking to expand their business to make more profits and increase their market share, the 5th largest country Brazil is the target for the company.
Firstly, this report will give the company an view on Brazil’s business environment in 5 ways, which is political environment, legal environment, economic environment, socio-culture environment and technology environment. Secondly, it will provide a SWOT analysis. Thirdly, it will provide an action plan based on the issues that the report has suggested.
Political Environment

Brazilian government is currently owned by Dilma Rousseff, Under the constitution in 1988, Brazil holds the election every 4 years and the president can only be re elected 1 time.
Brazil has one of the most stable democratic governments on the earth. “It has been ranked as the 8th largest economy in the world” (monetary fund 2009) and Brazil is the driving power of the Union of the South America nation.
Brazil is the largest partner of Australia in South America region. Current president Ms Dilma Roussuff hasn’t pass any new rules onto trading with Australia, and non-alcoholic drink sector.
