Should abortion be legal?
Abortion is a big and serious issue that has been around in America for years now. There have been large amount of arguments about the issue yet there is still no conclusion to it. Women were given a gift that men don’t have and that is bringing a human being, a new life, a child into the world. An abortion destroys women terribly. The organization that is terminating the baby’s life is making money off the abortion yet they don’t tell you the consequences or the symptoms after the abortion. I believe in women’s rights and I believe that every women should have the right to decide whether she is to have the baby or not, but I also believe that no child should have his life terminated; I believe that every child should have a life and a loving family. The story I am going to read is a true story of a lady who went through the process of abortion and the consequences that came to her after the abortions…
“In October 2000 Tonya found out that she was pregnant by her 6 month boyfriend Bob. Bob didn’t want to have the baby so he told her to get an abortion. Tonya was catholic and her family was really against abortions. So Tonya went behind her families back and got one. She went through the process of abortion. A couple of months after the abortions Tonya noticed that her periods weren’t coming as they were suppose, so she decided to get a check-up. Tonya soon found out that she wasn’t able to have babies anymore because she had cysts on my ovaries and scar tissue on the lining of her uterus. She is suffering from the depression to eating disorders, to regret and guilt. “
