Have you ever loved someone so much that it was time for you to move on? Many people have given their heart to that special someone and in the end it was broken. Love is the most powerful feeling you can ever feel. It can destroy you in many ways and can change you. A lot of people don’t realize that it can change your life and have you become a different person. When your heart is broken, it is so hard to have it back the way it was. As time goes on you will learn how to get over your broken heart.
The first step is to take time to heal. Automatically you want to forget that someone, get out of the house, and party with your friends. Wrong! It’s like you have a broken leg and want to walk on it. Your leg needs healing as well as your heart needs healing. You need to recover from what has happened and let it be. Go ahead and cry, eat your ice-cream, and candies. This is truly normal! Spoil yourself as much as you can.
The second step is to have comfort. You need someone to comfort you, talk too, and trust; your best friend, your mom, or sister. As long as you know that you still have someone their in your life, and know that they will always be by your side, is what counts the most. You can even write everything down on a paper; similar to a poem. It might sound ridiculous, but it may work for you. It’s better that you speak or write out the pain instead of holding it in.

The third step is to not ask questions. You want to know what happened with the relationship, why things went the way it did. Some questions can be “Did he/she ever love me? Where they lying to me the whole time? Will we ever get back together? Will I ever love again?” these are questions you may ask yourself and never get an answer; which is normal. Love does not always have answers or reasons. It just happens and that’s what you need to realize. The answer you want to find will not exist. Try to understand that...
