Budweiser which is also known as the king of beers, is one of the most well known beers in America. Some of Budweiser’s main competitors would be Coors, Corona, Heineken, and Miller. The ranking for the top bands in the U.S.A., Bud Light comes out on top as number one followed by Budweiser coming in second. How did this company become so successful one may ask?
The brewery was named Anheuser-Busch brewing association in 1879, a year later Eberhard Anheuser died. In 1936 Budweiser is marked in cans for the first time ever, and in 1956 the Budweiser “Bow-Tie” sale promotion is introduced. Budweiser is really starting to become popular and in 1964 Anheuser-Busch is producing 10 million barrels of beer in a year and by 1997, 100 million will be produced in a year. August A. Busch III will be named CEO just in time for the 100th anniversary. In 1980 Anheuser-Busch will sign an agreement with Labatt Brewing C. Ltd. To sell Budweiser in Canada.
In 1982 Bud Light is introduced and does very well. The difference between Budweiser and Bud Light is that Bud Light is born in the brew house and uses a very different brewing process to create a very different and lower-calorie beer. In 1989 August A. Busch dies and in 2002 August IV becomes the president. The company has always stayed close to the family and is passed down.

Budweiser has been around for a very long time, it has been brewed since 1876. Anheuser-Busch sells a lot of beer, nearly one of every two beers sold in the USA is produced by Anheuser-Busch himself. As some people may believe that beer will improve in taste with age, they are wrong. Beer is nothing like wine and the fresher a beer is the better the taste. That is why every Budweiser comes with a “Bon on date” so costumers know how fresh their beer really is.
