There are many social issues that have affected society as a whole . One of the main issues affecting students in school and there studying is being constantly bullied by their peers. Another issue in society is the way you're dressed. If you're not rocking the latest styles society will try to judge you and make you feel less. Most of the time society tries to degrade you if you're not hanging out with the popular kids so they think its okay to try and belittle you. Im going to be talking about how society continuously is a problem and how the causes are affecting individuals lives.
One issue that has been a continuous problem is bullying and it has been a problem since the scarlet letter . Bullying is the third leading cause of death in our youth, resulting in about 4,400 death per year. For every suicide among young kids there has been at least 100 failed attempts . An outrageous 14 percent of high school students have considered committing suicide and almost 7 percent have attempted . Even kids from ages 10 to 15 have a higher risk of committing suicide because they choose not to talk to a parent or counselor . There are many different types of bullying such as physical, verbal , relational aggression also known as emotional bullying, and cyber bullying.
Physical bullying is the most common type of bullying and happens when kids use actions to gain power and control over the another child . Physical bullies usually are bigger, stronger and more aggressive than their peers. Most of the youth have been bullied by another, which is why they choose to be the bully for a change. They think revenge is the only way to getting back as to how they felt when they were getting constantly bullied.
