Bulnes Festival

In Bulnes there is a day in which the people make a big party. That party celebrates the founding of Bulnes. This celebration is in October 3rd and it began 120 years ago. People celebrate this event bye doing a parade, selling almost about everything on stalls, and to end the day there is a big party at the main square.
The parade is the main most typical part in this festival. In this parade participate a lot of people, such as students of high schools, authorities of the city, groups of the city, the red ladies, prepare this event. First they have a dress rehearsal two week before, and after that, they get together and they do the parade. They show their activities to the community with the militaries and war band to guide the parade. In conclusion the parade is the symbol of the October 3rd festival.
Another important thing in this celebration is the food that the people prepare to sell. That day woman prepares different food to sell to the community. These foods are recognized for their delicious flavor, such as chicken soup, humitas, and salad, juices with different flavor or natural juices. There are a lot of people who take advantage of this party to work. For these reasons we can say that the food is an essential ting in this event.
Finally, at the night, the community has a big party, with special guests, amazing shows and performances. There people can dance, sing, etc., and a very important aspect of this party is free access, and people enjoy. This party put end to the celebration, so you can not leave Bulnes if you have not been in that party.
In conclusion this day is remembered for the people who live in Bulnes. All the community celebrates this festival, enjoying the activities prepared with their family and friends. It could be a good initiative for the other Chile’s cities.
