What is God's call for your life? That is the question many Christians wonder about and seek an answer to. Is it for full time ministry, or to be a missionary, or…? God's word offers some insight into His calling and His plans & will for His people. You need to prayerfully seek God and ask Him to help you to discern His special plan and calling for your life, and ask Him to give you the faith and courage to follow, wherever he leads you. You will be happiest and full of joy when you are in the middle of God's will and plan.

Calling is God’s invitation and his calling, yet God’s calling is different for everyone. Your calling is different than everyone else; calling is that you have gifts and talents that are needed by the church and around the world. All of us are called to use our gifts and talents like in Parable of the Talents where the servants are given talents to build off of. Two of the servants use their talents and please god, but one of the servants hides his talent and is sent to dwell with the shadows. We are given talents for a purpose and whatever they may be like ordination in the church where you can be a deacon or an elder. Deacons are those ordained to a lifetime ministry of word and service to the community and congregation. Elders are those dedicated for a lifetime, yet they also given the gift of a lifetime ministry of service, word, sacrament and order.

God’s main call is to have a restored relationship with him and then to close your life with him. God says only by accepting and receiving me, as your Lord and Savior will you ever be reconciled with God, or will you be able to have a personal relationship with Him. "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
