Capital Punishment
Do you think that capital punishment is wrong? Do you think it is wrong for a person to be put to death for committing horrible crimes? Well, let me tell you my opinion about it. Personally, I believe that there is nothing wrong with it. I strongly believe that capital punishment is a great thing and a wonderful way to remove terrible people from society. Capital punishment is the best punishment for horrible people. If you still aren’t on my side, then just keep reading. I have 3 death row inmates to use as examples to prove that it is a good thing. Charles Manson, Jeffrey Dahmer, and John Wayne Gacy are great examples. If you don’t know who these men are, than you are in for a rude awakening as you read what these horrible men did to receive life in prison and capital punishment.
I am going to start things off easy, with Charles Manson. Manson was man who had been in jail many times throughout life before going one last time. In 1957, he was released from prison and decided to start a music career while gaining many followers. Manson and his followers developed into a cult going under the name of “the Family”. On August 9, 1969, Manson ordered 4 of his followers to go to a home in California and kill the people living inside. The 4 followers brutally murdered actress Sharon Tate, her unborn baby, and 4 other people who were visiting her. His followers killed 2 more people in their own home the following night. After months of the police investigating the crime, Manson and many followers were arrested in December 1969. He was found guilty of first degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder. Charles Manson was sentenced to death.
The next man was another death row inmate with the name of Jeffrey Dahmer. Dahmer was a vile, digusting man. When is apartment was searched after being arrested, it was one the most horrid sites ever seen. Dahmer killed his victims and ate them, leaving...
