Heriberto Perez Jr. 27 January 2009 PDC111 Period. 1 KGA Career Plan I want a career in Law Enforcement that’s why I am coming to this school. I would really like to join the LAPD or get hired at a Police Station around this area. I chose this career because ever since I was a little kid I always wanted to be a Police Officer and I still do. I really love helping people and this would be good for that. I also enjoy dealing with all kinds of people and learning about them. I will enjoy getting up and going to work as a Police Officer, that’s a big reason why I made this career choice. Police and detectives enforce laws. They also Catch Criminals and take them to the justice system. They also collect Evidence and may testify in court. Some cops patrol the streets and can give out traffic tickets. Most police officers are on foot or in police cars. Some of the training involved is with weapons and self defense. U must be a United States citizen. You also must be healthy and strong and of good character. Most Police units want you to have and require and college degree. It will mean everything in the world to me to graduate from Westwood College. That’s why I know that I will graduate because I have to and I will. It’s been a while since I been in school. Since 2003 when I graduated from high school, I just been working nonstop at all kinds of places trying to find a right job. I didn’t find it and I got tired of breaking my back for someone else when they and just lay me off or fire me whenever they want. That’s why I decided to come to Westwood because I need a career where if I work hard my family and I will be the ones that reek the benefits and the results. It will mean a lot to me to graduate because I want to prove to myself that I can stick this out and be a winner. I will be proud of myself and so will my family and most of my friends. I want to graduate for them because am the oldest in my family and my little brothers will get a good example from me....
